about

Honestly, this song was composed when demoing the Taltos song. It was the last part of the melody and was picked up and remade. The starting idea for this song was an interest in the different tones and textures of various musical instruments. Each musical instrument contributes a unique tone and texture, which was developed further with the desire to create something new. The song is calm and uneventful, without any climax or emotion. It's just an ordinary, everyday song from start to finish. The song speaks about the feelings of everyday life where it feels like waiting for something, repeating the same routine. It references a quote from the movie "Synecdoche, New York," which highlights the complexities of life and the strings attached to every choice, leading to a feeling of anger, sadness, and hurt. The quote also touches on the idea that while one is alive, they spend their time in vain waiting for something to make them feel connected, loved and whole. However, the good may never come and one might end up pretending to be okay just to fit in. The song captures these sentiments and intending to be melancholic and calm, and unintentionally becoming somewhat sexy. It can be said that this song is the theme song of this album.
