I want the riff to evoke a sense of evil, as if the arrival of the devil or something similarly evil is imminent, as if someone were performing a sacrifice. This song is somewhat a story, like being in a place. The sanctity after our death is similar to a journey through an old door into a new one, describing the fear of going to an unknown and unimaginable place. The song is composed with that intention, and it ends with accepting some truths that can't be avoided. It's like being embraced into a new world. The last part of the song reminds of entering a vast space, as if transforming into something, like taking an elevator to a new land.
