This song was the first to be written before the album started. At that time, I wanted something raw and rough to contrast with the other songs that existed at that time. I got this riff from experimenting on an acoustic guitar and playing through a dropped C string. I wanted the song to be different, darker, and heavier than the older ones. The middle part was rearranged with a Medieval or Baroque style melody or something like that. In order to resonate with Taltos, as if being transported to a cathedral or sacred place. The sound of an iron barrel being struck creates an industrial feel, increasing the gritty atmosphere inspired by Mogwai's "San Pedro." This evokes the genre of Stoner Rock but with a faster pace. Think of Ghost Rider riding a motorcycle tour through hell.
